SafeCare BC Training Centre (Burnaby)
Want to learn strategies to prevent and de-escalate potentially violent situations in the workplace? Want your staff to feel confident dealing with potentially violent situations? Want to know how to protect yourself in the event of a behavioural crisis? Now’s your chance.
The Provincial Violence Prevention Curriculum classroom course is an essential tool for anyone working in continuing care. Led by an expert facilitator, who understands the health care environment, the session builds on concepts covered in the Health Employers Association of BC’s (HEABC) 8 e-learning modules, providing you with the opportunity to practice and apply your knowledge in various scenarios.
Injuries arising from acts of violence or aggression are the second-most common injury type among long-term care workers, and an area of concern for home care and community health support workers. REGISTER TODAY!
