Spotlight on New Staff: Jenn Lesage

We would like to welcome Jenn Lesage to the SafeCare BC team, as Programs and Events Coordinator. Jenn has a degree in Communications, and with a passion for bettering her community, she is thrilled to fuse her passion for event planning with her customer service background to make a difference at SafeCare BC.
Q: What interested you about working at SafeCare?
I have always been interested in the health care industry. So being given an opportunity to work for a company that closely supports continuing care workers with a goal of creating a safer environment for all, is very exciting to me.
Q: What excites you about your role?
Being the Events and Programs Coordinator at SafeCare gives me a unique opportunity to connect with people from the continuing care sector on a personal level. I am excited to cultivate these relationships and help grow awareness on the dangers of this industry through workshops and other educational opportunities.
Q: What was your first, or most unusual job?
My first job was as a junior soccer coach. I picked up cones and tied shoelaces.
Q: When not at work, what do you like doing in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to practice yoga, go hiking and listen to podcasts, especially true crime
Q: What book are you currently reading?
The Tattooist of Auschwitz
Q: What did you want to be growing up?
When I grew up, I wanted to be a teacher, so that I could have summers off.
Q: What is one thing we don’t know about you?
My parents watched Friends before deciding on my name. My first name is Jennifer (Aniston) and my middle name is Courtney (Cox).
