Recapping Hearts & Hands

October 29, 2019 | News

Hearts & Hands – the conference that celebrates, educates, and inspires health care assistants – took place last week in Langley and Victoria. SafeCare BC would like to thank everyone who took part in this year’s event and helped make it a success.

Emcee Brenda Robinson and keynote presenter Teepa Snow’s stage presence made for a day that was as entertaining as it was educational. Supported by breakout sessions presented by Dan Levitt, Dr. Heather Cooke, Rhonda Croft, Trish Giesbrecht, Shannon Kenning and Chihab Kaab, this year’s events offered a diverse range of experiences. Presentations for these sessions can be found on our website.

Each of the Hearts & Hands conferences ended with one simple message: thank you. With the support of the residents, clients, their families, and staff of Sidney All Care, The Heights at Mt. View, Home Instead, Willingdon Care Centre and Menno Place, we created two special videos – one shown in Langley and one in Victoria – to show our appreciation for the work you do. These videos can be viewed on our YouTube channel.

Hearts & Hands was made possible by our terrific sponsors. We would like to thank them again for their support!
