Please join us in welcoming Garret Chance to  SafeCare BC as our new Programs Advisor. Garrett joins the team with a major in Kinesiology and a certificate in Project Management.
Get to know Garret by reading the Q&A below.

Q: What interested you about working at SafeCare?

What interested me about working at SafeCare BC, was being able to help people through data and working with others in the healthcare industry.

Q: What excites you about your role?

I am excited about this role, as I will be getting to work with various health organizations, help countless of individuals across BC, and be able to use my post-secondary education.

Q: What was your first, or most unusual job?

The most unusual job was being a tour guide at UBC for two days for Japanese high school students.

Q: If given a chance, who would you be for a day?

I would like to be my younger self, to share with him what I know now about life.

Q: When not at work, what do you like doing in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, playing soccer, guitar and piano, and learning new things.

Q: What book are you currently reading?

A book I am currently reading is, Can’t Hurt Me, by David Goggins

Q: What did you want to be growing up?

When I was growing up, I wanted to be an F1 driver.

Q: What is one thing we don’t know about you?

I performed in a Chinese singing contest.
