Support Service Staff at Pinegrove Place are dedicated to promoting person-centred, holistic care in a manner which preserves dignity and supports each individual’s capabilities. Ongoing staff education supports current best practices. The BISS Contracted Long Term Care Centre Support Project taught housekeeping staff the best practices for Environmental Cleaning for the prevention and control of infections.

Our Dietary Aides and Cooks have taken the online course, Kitchen-Related Hazards, so that they can apply preventative strategies to help ensure everyone in the kitchen stays free from injury. Our team members work together to provide a home-like environment while ensuring that the safety and comfort of all our residents is our priority. Above all the Support Service Staff maintain a good relationship between themselves and other departments so as to foster a better work environment for all. We treat everyone—residents and co-workers alike—as our family.
