Workplace Civility

February 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

How Civil is Your Workplace?

How do workplace relationships affect the physical and mental well-being of staff and the people in care? How Civil is Your Workplace?

If relationships between co-workers are strained, it significantly impacts their ability to work as a team. Either as a result of incivility or an attempt to avoid it, people resort to working by themselves. Given the complex needs of those in care, this potentially puts both the person in care and staff at risk of injury. Workplace relationships get in the way of safe care.

Join us on Monday, February 24, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. as Dr. Heather Cooke, Rhonda Croft, and Trish Giesbrecht discuss the importance of civility in the workplace, and strategies that both employers and staff can use to create a better work environment.
