Hearts and Hands
Hearts and Hands is the premier conference for healthcare assistants in British Columbia. With the goals of celebrating, educating, and inspiring, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
The fifth annual Hearts and Hands will take place this year between October 19-23. REGISTER NOW at www.heartsandhands.ca We can’t wait for you to join us!
Celebrate Together
Since its inception, the Annual Hearts and Hands Conference has always been a chance to recognize and celebrate the hard work healthcare assistants do on a regular basis. With the COVID-19 pandemic, that celebration is needed now more than ever. While restrictions may prevent us from gathering in large crowds, we are happy to say Hearts and Hands will continue — in a digital form.
SafeCare BC is committed to our members’ health and safety. The new format of the conference will not only allow us to follow the recommendations of the Provincial Health Officer, it means even more people can join in the celebration.
Stay tuned, as we’ll have more to share soon!
Education and Inspiration
Get ready for a week that will energize and educate!
Certified Speaking Professional Michelle Cederberg will be providing a series of presentations for this year’s Hearts and Hands.
Michelle is truly a master of many disciplines. As an author, speaker, and coach, she holds a Masters in Kinesiology, a BA in Psychology, a specialization in Health and Exercise Psychology, is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, a Certified Professional Co-Active Life Coach, and an ORSC-Trained Team Coach.
And before all that? Michelle worked as a Recreation Assistant in long-term care!
Michelle believes that personal and professional success is directly influenced by the physical, mental and emotional capacity we each have within us to create the life and career we want.
In Michelle’s words, “Carpe freakin’ diem!”
Additionally, each day of the event will have its own activities and educational opportunities to take part in.
